RAYMORE, Mo.-- Sophomore Abby Schramel, who had just charted a new career-low 73 in her last tournament,*fired an even-par 72 in the opening round of the Kansas City Intercollegiate completed Tuesday at Creekmore Golf Club. Schramel finished one shot back of Jenna Janu, who finished tied for 18th after her final round three-over 75 to go +14 for the three-round tournament.
