View Full Version : No Jackson State @ North Alabama in 2019?

I see that the UNA schedule was released and does not have Jackson State as an opponent. I know that the two signed a home and home deal and UNA visited JSU last year. Is 2nd part of the series canceled or just moved to 2020?

It could be still in the works this season. UNA has only 11 games scheduled, open dates Sept 28th and Oct 12th, with no home games in a 4 week stretch. Perhaps SWAC has some conference scheduling to work out before JSU can confirm. I'm betting on it happening Sept 28th.

JSU announced on Friday that they'll be playing in the Circle City Classic in Indianapolis on September 28th so that date is out of the window.

The classic has been pushed back a week? I thought it was gonna be Sept. 21st.

Okay, a little housekeeping required.
UNA official webpage shows Presbyterian scheduled Sept 28 (instead of Nov 23 as posted here via fbsschedules.com)
Therefore UNA current open dates are Oct 12 and Nov 23.
So Jackson State match seems even more unlikely this year.
