xnonono2x Not a single I-AA OOC? Hey DetriotFlyer, certainly the PFL deserves an auto for this kind of schedule.

Butler has been one of the worst teams in all of FCS for a number of years. Recently, they have renovated the old Butler Bowl, and are reported to have dropped a couple of men's sports to focus more resources on football. From what I am hearing so far, the latest recruiting class is one of the best in a long time.... Last season, Butler won a few games, including an upset of my Flyers! Now, explain to me why a program that was mentioned as potentially going under a short while ago, that was one of if not the worst team in FCS, should go out a play a schedule that would give them few chances of a victory? Is it better for Butler to go 0-11 against FCS schools, or maybe get close to .500 while they are rebuilding? Do some homework before you hammer a Butler in the future. I am glad to see them getting better and hope that they win at least some of their OOC games! And yes, if a USD or a Drake or a Dayton or an MSU goes undefeated in PFL play, against FCS teams, let me repeat that for those of you in Delaware, ALL FCS TEAMS, they should get a playoff bid!!!!!

2 D-II and 2 D-III games. I think an FCS team should only be able to schedule 1 D-II or D-III game. Are FBS teams only able to schedule 1 FCS per year?

What's the deal with the Pioneer Schedule for BU? Only Three Home Games and Five on the Road?

They may be bad in football, but they have an awesome basketball program and the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse; where the movie Hoosiers was shot.

Too bad they couldn't go scholarship in football and join the Gateway, they'd fit in perfectly.

They played a school record seven home games last year. Probably to help aid in the rebuilding process with an easier home/away schedule.

I would rather see Drake do that than Butler.

Ohhhh, but they count towards the wins for other PFL's to make the playoffs. Great point. xrolleyesx xcoffeex

FBS can schedule as many FCS or lower teams that they want.
They may only have one FCS to remain bowl-eligible, however.

Not quite. All (both FBS and FCS) Division I football teams (except first-year programs) must schedule at least half of their games against other Division I teams.

It'd be cool to see Butler get scholarships football.

Same with Drake and others.

Never happen until we can get football excluded from title IX.

When you say the others do you mean the rest of the PFL or all the nonscholarships schools.
