A simple reversal of these two teams in my poll (Duquesne 21 and ETSU 22 to ETSU 21 and Duquesne 22) would have reversed the overall.

I hardly find this egregious - not sure if you do. I gave strong consideration to South Dakota State but ultimately opted against it. Two total losses. Both in Fargo. One exceptionally close. What could have been if they got the 6 seed instead of the 5, who knows?

Meh... SDSU also showed they could play with NDSU this year. Even closer than EWU did. Given what I watched, I do think JMU is better than KSU (I didn't at the beginning of the season) at the end of the season. In my heart of hearts, I think they are better than, and beat Colgate if the game was in H'burg -- but it wasn't so the Raiders get the nod based on H2H.

I also believe ISUb was a playoff team this year and were a pretty good football team. DIdn't drop them because they didn't get picked by the committee.

Maybe, maybe not. SDSU had to play in Fargo with less then a week between games. EWU had 3 weeks to get healthy and prepare.

I very seldom critique people's polls but this one is, interesting. ETSU was not a top 15 team. Top 25, sure, but 15 is a bit much and not ahead of JSU who beat them in the playoffs. Just saying.

A few observations/critiques:

Not sure why UNI got the bump they did. Squeaking by Lamar and giving UC Davis a god game warranted an 11 spot and 500+ point (despite 12 less voters) rise?
We see it every year in the final poll but the "out of sight, out of mind" issue hurt Indiana St and Furman apparently.
Two first timers in the AGS poll as Duqesne and Lamar make their first appearance ever.
If you include the ORV all 14 FCS conferences (which includes the FCS Independents) were represented.
