So, wanted to post a thread describing the experience I had this weekend with the Bison faithful.

First of all, I want to thank OLine for allowing me to join meals and his tailgate, and I want to thank IBY for being my Bison Sherpa. Friday, experiencing the bars with the Bison was great (although I trolled some of them by wearing a Dallas Stars hockey shirt).

The tailgating experience today was awesome, and getting to meet so many AGS folks was awesome. So besides oline and iby, CX, BFNM, POD, Southern Bison, AG1, upstatebison, NDSUtk, Cascade, and anyone I may have inadvertently left off, it was a pleasure meeting y’all.

It was funny, I was in SFA gear and folks would randomly go “hey are you the Rev?”, but I guess I stood out being in purple

one other cool story: IBY and I were in 130 and a guy asked if we’d trade seats so he could sit with his group, so we said sure, and ended up sitting at the 50 yard line. What was cool was Rocky Hager was sitting right in front of us, and also a lot of former players. Nice guy, and it’s neat to see him still coming to Bison games

Once again, thanks to the Bison fans for being so inviting this weekend. I’m going against the grain on this but I hope to see you return to Frisco

Sorry we missed encountering each other Rev. I had a good time tailgating and chatting with the NDSU faithful. Wandering through the west lot, did party down with NDSUtk, and many others. Lots of folks razzed me about being a lost Rabbit, but after sharing "Off with your Red" IPA from the Rabbithole brewery, we all had a great time.

Meeting TK was fun because it was on the field post game. I went down there with the Bison fans but I waited til the end to let the actual fans get there first

I'm like who the hell has a purple shirt on? Then it all clicked. Rabid, glad you wondered by and asked if any of us were on AGS. Hope you enjoyed tailgating with us!

The Rev and IBY, I was the one with you that when that dude asked us to move from 130 to 126. My ticket was separate from the group I came with. Anyway, thanks for letting me tag along. That was a great upgrade. Cheers!
