50 years ago, December 14, 1968 the NDSU Bison defeated Arkansas State 23-14 in the Pecan Bowl and were voted number one in the College Division final AP poll capping off a perfect 10-0 season.

30 years ago, December 10, 1988 the NDSU Bison defeated Portland State 35-21 in the Division II championship in Florence, Alabama. The Bison finished the season 14-0 winning their 4th Division II title in 6 years.

Meh, any Jinx was taken care of in 98 or 08.
Damn, I'm getting old. I remember listening to the 68 game on the radio as a little ****ter with my dad. Roller, the NDSU fullback was from the area where I grew up.
The 88 game I was coaching BB and we had practice that morning. I caught the 2nd half from Chumley's in Moorhead a few blocks from school after practice.

I was at that game! My brother was on that team. Go Bison!
