For UD fans: UD's athletics Hall of Fame will be getting a new member soon. Rich Gannon will be inducted after his NFL retirement becomes official shortly (see article linked below). He will also become a game analyst for CBS this coming season.

"Delaware coach K.C. Keeler, a UD player before Gannon, calls him "the favorite son" of Delaware football. He said the Philadelphia native has pledged to become more involved with UD football following his retirement. Keeler said a photo collage and locker will be set up in the locker room to commemorate Gannon's career.
"People don't realize he's spent the last few years flying back and forth with his family between his home in Minnesota and Oakland," Keeler said. "He has said to me, 'Now that I'm leaving the NFL, how can I help Delaware football?'
"We're excited about that."
