As a UMaine fan for a long time not sure I can recall such a total perfomance by Maine as this one. Talked with a couple of JSU fans at halftime to get their thoughts and they thought the cold did play a factor especially jumping out to that quick 21-0 lead. What I was most impressed about Maine was them letting JSU backinto the game making it 21-14 but Maine scored the next 3 TD's to pretty much make it a game over at 42-14. Not sure where this ride ends for Maine but enjoying the heck out of it for now!!!

Just got home from a victory dinner at Olive Garden (hey...what can I say? It's Bangor, Maine for cripes sake!). Maine really dominated the game physically. This really is the most complete Maine team that I have ever seen. They are not perfect, but they have a very physical D, a big play O, and even a decent kicker. They are a threat to beat Weber State on the road.

The weather was about as good as you will see in Orono, Maine on Dec. 1......about 35ish with no wind and no precip. I thought that the crowd was better than I expected....about 6K and very much into the game from start to finish.

1)Your team and school reeks of class from the team wearing matching suits, ties,shirts and red caps, very impressive. Band was every bit as good advertised and cool to see the two bands next to one another and watch each band dance to one another. Bringing the Cocky flag and J S U flags was special as well.
2)Dance off between Banana's and Cocky was entertaining, think Cocky won.

4)My one question is at the end of the game two Maine State policeman and a Penobscot County Sherriff assisted your coach to meet our Coach for end of game ritual. I have never seen this done at Maine, police escorting the visiting coach, I know this is done at FBS level so curious to know if Maine initiated this or if you guys request this?
5)Our crowd although smaller than average was much louder than usual. Think many of us may have been in the Holiday spirit as the Beer Garden ran out of beer at halftimexdrunkyx

All the wise cracks and S**T being said about JSU are totally warranted. As fans, we are completely frustrated.

It all started, in Frisco, when we noticed our team lolligagging out of the tunnel and it was like snot drizzling out of a nose. Little by little the players came out. It was as if we didn’t know what we were supposed to do! Then we found out about the trash talking beforehand. I’ve heard two stories, but I could give two s**ts which one was correct. From then on it’s been penalties, offensive Jekyll and Hyde, coaching, and pass defense issues. We have digressed since 2015.

To have a program like NDSU, in Alabama, would require Alabama and Auburn to disappear. JSU will never be a focus of state funding. NDSU is the Alabama of their region. JSU is an afterthought. But...we can still play hard, act like we give a s**t, stop the thuggery, start a damn training and nutrition program for our 310 OL that have a hard time playing 4 qrtrs, and leave the s**tty OVC!!!!
