The Big Sky All-Conference team is selected by the Big Sky’s head football coaches. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players. The conference’s Coach of the Year award will be announced on Wednesday.

Really floored me. I thought the EWU DT is good but not better than him. My 4 LBs would have been Olson, Ellis, Buss, and Moe.
I recall two separate instances where the Big Sky Conference did not award the conference Defensive Player of the Year award to the person who eventually won the Buch Buchanan (Tyrone Holmes - 2015; Jared Allen - 2003).
