Lafayette hung in last week by playing extremely discipline D. Colgate has a better D but they really haven't been tested. How they handle teams in space is what i'm interested.

I would say the direction of the ball was caused by the direction of the hit aka Hopkins getting driven back to his own endzone.

Absolutely. But I want to see Colgate healthy for the playoffs. They are old school and fun to watch. That linebacker Wisniewski is amazing.

They'll have healthy bodies ready to compete. Time will tell on Wheeler and the DT's injuries. If Colgate was worried about the physical toll this game would take they wouldn't have scheduled it for the final game.

Watched at a bar, missed most of the 3rd after they switched the TV to The Citadel xlolx

Can't be too disappointed with what I saw today. Defense looked okay, though Army is physical and the option is difficult to adjust to. Shot ourselves in the foot quite a few times with dumb penalties and other mistakes. The offense just isn't as good without Breneman. Hoping his continued absence is still precautionary, as we'll need him for the playoffs. Same with Wheeler and the other guys who got banged up.

I don't do too much in the way of lobbying for seeds (in part because it's not as if the folks here have real influence ;)), but I think 9-0 against FCS with a competitive loss to what will likely be an 11-win Army team (Beat Navy!) is a solid resume for one of the byes. Wouldn't expect anything higher than 6, but would love the extra week off. We'll find out soon enough.

In the meantime, great regular season, and everything on the table headed into Thanksgiving

Colgate was very impressive. Their defense was stout and defended the edges extremely well. That linebacker was phenomenal. If the offense can be proficient, the Raiders will make a deep playoff run. Excellent opponent and team. Feel free to return to Michie.

I am sure Coach Blaik and Coach Kerr were enjoying the contest.
