Will Bozo have a meltdown in Fargo today? Coach Klieman has a ton of respect for Bozo and expresses that when YSU week comes up every year.

I suspect YSU will bring their A game to Fargo and this game will be competitive for a half or 3 quarters.....then again if the Bison get up early then maybe this could be a rout with YSU's "mental state" in question.

The Bison coaching staff will not take this game lightly. The Penguins like to run the ball so stopping it is huge for the Bison. Numerous Bison defensive players have said YSU is the most physical OL they face. Stop McCaster!

I suspect Mays will play at QB to provide a running threat from the QB....which can cause NDSU trouble.


Overall, I think the Bison take care of business today. This team is on a mission. 11-0 regular season. I think covering the point spread will be difficult but something like 35-13 is likely.

But seriously, I think this YSU team will show more fight today, mainly defensively, than most are expecting them too. I think the score will be about in line with what BFinNWMN said but I'll say a little lower scoring at 27-6.

This game is being broadcast locally, so local fans will see how poor and how far YSU has fallen after poor years of recruiting under Bozo. NDSU standards used to be YSU standards but no more. There is a chance you may see a true Frosh at QB for YSU, as well at some other positions. I’ll agree with the local paper, somewhere around 42- 17, Bison.

I will be interested in seeing how the guard and center do against the NDSU defensive tackles and linebackers. The Bison radio show those interior guys for YSU have been a main stay in the lineup for the last few years and they are good.

Back from the game and some thoughts:

Bo must have had an impact on their team because the YSU defense showed up today.
ES didn't have a good game but he still ground out a win.
YSU's defense was fast and closed in on the RBs really quick.
Hopefully this is the stinker game of the year because the offense didn't perform to well but give YSU's defense some credit on this one.
Bison defense played pretty well. Kudos to them. DL was really good.
Overall, it is a win even though it was ugly.
On to Missouri State that just got boat raced by the Jacks.

Watched the replay of the game, the front 7 for YSU played really well, Dellovade is as good a LB as I have seen this year. Bison WR's, with the exception of Shepard were dismal, Stick really only had a couple bad throws, Ty Brooks looks injured, really slow hitting the holes today, Cofield needs more carries. If we try to kick another freaking 50+ field goal, I am going to storm the field. Bison D line played a great game, lots of pressure all day.
