It's back.....

For anyone new, you pick one winner from the MVFC. There's two catches. You must get your pick right to remain in the game and once you use that team you can't use them the rest of the season.

To play, just post your pick in this thread. I'll update this first post with who is still in and your previous picks. Forgetting to make your pick (you can place your pick anytime before that games kickoff) or picking a team a second time will eliminate you as well.

Just a heads up, but the UNI/ISUb game is Thursday for anyone wanting to jump in yet. You can still pick another game after that if you want (and haven't picked), but UNI is the most popular pick at the moment.

Should we just rename this the "2018 Fading Indiana St. Pool"? At least with Misery St. hopefully relevant, you could end up with a week or two of tough decisions with only 1 true bottom dweller. I wanted to start a game where it's a survivor pool, but you have to pick a losing team each week in the MVFC. That would be a lot more difficult. I thought there were enough games going on already though.

Wouldn't this just be the opposite? Pick the team playing North Dakota State each week? Plus, ISU-b doesn't play NDSU so on a week where NDSU has a super testy game like last week, you just save that week for ISU-b.

In 2020 it'll be a little more interesting after UND joins since there will be 9 weeks of conference play and someone will have to be on bye every week so that ISUb bye week will make things interesting. Of course after UND joins we'll also have another bottom feeder to choose from. :p

Ive got us winning 1-3 more games. I suspect 2 but I think they will have a fighters chance in about 2 other games

Honestly its still a relatively safe bet vs missouri st. If 1 defensive player leaves during the game were screwed

Idk... I mean obviously SDSU didn't play well, but ISUb did some really good things. Plenty to build on. Key is a very good RB, and Boyle can sling it. Defense obviously needs to improve, but a lot of positives on offense.

A little history...

In 2017 6 posters survived the whole conference season
In 2018 we made it 6 weeks.
