Saturday – 9-15

Robert Morris at Bryant – 1:00 pm
Central Conn. at Fordham – 1:00 pm
Sacred Heart at Wagner – 6:00 pm
St. Francis at Albany – 7:00 pm
Duquesne at Hawaii – 11:00 pm

The first two conference games of the year highlight Week Four in the NEC as RMU travels to Bryant and Sacred Heart visits Wagner. Bryant should have little trouble with RMU as they are coming off one of the worst defeats in school history last week. I also like SHU over Wagner, although this one should be a little closer than SHU’s prior wins against two 0-3 Patriot League teams (Bucknell and Lafayette.)

Central Conn. had a tough time with Columbia last week, losing 41-24, but Fordham is the other 0-3 team in the Patriot League this year. CCSU will win.

StFU is two plays away from being 3-0 this year, and while I think they are capable of beating Albany, I can’t help but expect another heart breaker. (I’ll be in Albany to witness this one.)

Duquesne lost by 48 to UMass. They are only a 37 point underdog this week.

One last note, congrats to future NEC member, Merrimack College on getting their first win of 2018 last week. The Warriors went on the road and beat Bentley Univ. 35-30. Merrimack takes on New Haven this week at home. New Haven (2-1) lost to Bryant in Week One of this year 41-31.

Through 3 weeks, I've only missed 2 games (SHU over Bucknell; and Columbia over CCSU), but things get tougher each week from here on out.

Robert Morris at Bryant – Bulldogs big over BobbyMo
Central Conn. at Fordham – Blue Devils fix mistakes from last week
Sacred Heart at Wagner – Seahawks in a toss-up
St. Francis at Albany – Red Flash in a shootout
Duquesne at Hawaii - Dukes lose their 2nd FBS game this year
