Yep, Jacksonville St. also too high. This poll usually has some real head scratchers. Northern Arizona still getting votes after losing 40-8 to Missouri State who didn't receive any votes!xeyebrowx

NAU/MSU was the big one I noticed right off the bat. WIU not receiving any votes was kinda a "huh?" for me but I chalked that up to maybe just me being a homer. Maybe every voter just felt we were right around 26-28ish, which I get, so we wouldn't show up on the ORV if that was the case.

Does seem odd though, since you just beat their #20 team.

Kinda, but I've read the arguments in our poll's thread about a team beating another team, but the other team likely winning 80% of the games if they met repeatedly, so I don't have a problem with someone putting MT ahead of us still if they have a good reason.

But, as has been established repeatedly in the past, there is very little of what most would consider "reason" in the Coaches Poll.

Towson and Mercer are both 2-1 and coming off wins against previously top 10 teams where they both led basically all of the games. The fact they only received 40 combined points and are below Delaware, Colgate, and South Dakota, among others is deeply troubling. Above it all, giving Youngstown State a vote at this point should be an arrest-able offense.

Add a rape charge and you can make the team!

So SE LA got 10 votes at 0-3, albeit with 2 FBS loses, or WCU at 2-0 with one an sub-Div I win where they struggled gets 12 votes, and UTC at 3-0 gets 6 votes? Hmm.

Green teams seem too low, red teams are way too high and in some cases shouldn't even be present.

Mo state is good or NAU really bad. WIU was a good swap for MO state on YSU's schedule xsmiley_wix

No. I just meant a bunch of teams in the poll were misplaced. I can see where my statement could be construed that way though.

I'm a big fan of us having to play YSU rather than SDSU personally, especially right now. That was our switch this year.
