I saw how one person did a weekly forecast for UT games based on opponent's performance and figured I would do something similar for ETSU. I will rate our future opponents on a scale of 1-10 (10 - sure thing, 1 - not in this lifetime).
September 15 - VMI - Keydets are in for another beatdown. WIN (9)
September 22 - Furman - Call me crazy but Paladins look weaker than I thought. EITHER WAY (5)
September 29 - Chattanooga - Mocs beat a team in OT that Wofford beat by 7. WIN (6)
October 6 - Gardner-Webb - Bulldogs look to be a weak team. WIN (8)
October 13 - The Citadel - Showed some mettle in their losses. WIN (6.5)
October 20 - Wofford - This is a possible GOTW. LOSS (4)
October 27 - Western Carolina - No change here. WIN (5.5)
November 3 - Mercer - Still think ETSU is the better team. WIN (5.5)
November 17 - Samford - Bulldogs claim conference title. LOSS (3.5)
The Tennessee game was what I thought it was. Hopefully, the Bucs will learn from this and this will make them a better team. If ETSU manages to get past Furman, I think there's no reason ETSU makes it to Wofford with a 6-1 record. I think we have an even chance of making the playoffs.
