Friday - September 7th


Lincoln at Central Conn. St. – 6:00 pm

Saturday - September 8th


Delaware St. at Saint Francis – 12:00 noon
Valparaiso at Duquesne – 12:00 noon
Virginia St. at Robert Morris – 12:00 noon
Wagner at Syracuse – 3:30 pm
Sacred Heart at Bucknell – 3:30 pm
Bryant at Stony Brook – 6:00 pm

Sacred Heart is my pick to be the only 2-0 conference team after the weekend wraps up. I think Stony Brook will be too much for Bryant and Wagner is taking on Syracuse – so both teams should be 1-1 after this week. Duquesne should improve to 2-1 while CCSU and RMU take on D-2 opponents. I know RMU lost one of these games a few years ago, but I can’t see that happening again this year. StFU needs to rebound from a heart-breaking loss at Lehigh, but I am seriously worried that their offense will struggle again this season.

I think you have to take the home teams for the second straight week, although I'm holding out hope that Sacred Heart wins.

Agreed. His play-calling is rather predictable and I felt like they could have gone to Kam a little more often against Lehigh.

He prefers draw plays for a two yard gain.

We have too much talent to be cautious.

I am 14-1 with my picks. Should have went with my gut and taken SHU.

Sacred Heart wins and is now 2-0 on the season; it is the NEC's only road win to date.
