Noticed there's some rain going on in the Northern states, North Central and South Central areas this week. Anyone impacted so far? REV has had a foot of rain in his garage on the coast. Rain will likely be in play in Arkansas by Friday and Saturday. How much from the hurricane we'll know closer to game day. But Louisiana and surrounding areas will get DRENCHED before then and may affect travel.

Who else is thinking flooding or heavy rains will affect their attendance or even cancelling or delaying games?

Looks like a front coming across the plains currently and moving into the midwest, with remnants of Hurricane Gordon pushing up into the midwest a bit after that.
In terms of MVFC games:

Thursday
Lincoln University (DII) at Missouri State - thunderstorms starting mid-day on Thursday and continuing well into the evening.

Saturday
Northern Colorado at South Dakota - chance of rain/overcast, but in dome
Southern Illinois at Ole Miss - decent chance of thunderstorms from Wednesday to mid-afternoon Saturday
Youngstown State at West Virginia - chance of thunderstorms Thursday/Friday, but overcast on Saturday
Montana State at South Dakota State - pretty well clear of rain the latter half of the week, mostly cloudy on Saturday
Indiana State at Louisville - decent chance of thunderstorms Thursday evening, most of the day Friday, and starting mid-morning again on Saturday through all day
Eastern Illinois at Illinois State - good chance of rain Thursday morning, then late Thursday night. good chance of rain all day Friday and Saturday
Western Illinois at Illinois - same as EIU@ILSU (we'll only be about 50 miles apart)

So, a good number of games will probably be getting some rain. If it rains a lot through Thursday and Friday and continues into Saturday, there could be some seriously waterlogged fields.

That's good news. But don't forget all that water flows SOUTH down the Mississippi and other waterways! Stay safe Lions!

We've had way worse. It won't be that bad unless it stalls for some reason.
