Tennessee State University, Director of Athletics, Teresa Phillips has announced that the Tigers are adding Southern University to their football schedule. Tennessee State will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on September 22, 2007 to battle the Southern Jaguars. ---

Another (nomenclature?) error - Austin Peay is not 'resuming' FCS competition, even if they haven't been in an autobid conference for a while. They of course have been I-AA all along, in the Pioneer F.L. and as an independent.

I don't believe they posted the series record correctly it's more like Southern 10, Tenn. St. 35 with 2 ties.

Sadly those ties were like wins. Especially the one in Detroit at Tiger Stadium.
