Good to hear. Hopefully the SWAC game can take off once the stadium is built.

While I can appreciate the HBCU history and rivalries, I am one of those that wish the SWAC, Ivy and MEAC would participate in the FCS championship.

this decision most likely clinches the fact no SWAC at-large will be in the FCS playoffs.........a shame....can't envision the #2 team in either division "up there" as a top-25 FCS team....

The MEAC participates in the post season. We just don’t have an Auto Bid.

This year, you have 3 MEAC teams (A&T, Bethune, Howard) that will be in the running for the playoffs. It’s very likely the second, and even third place team in the conference will be invited to play in the post season, especially if they can handle business OOC.

Those three teams, FAMU and NCCU will help raise the profile of the conference.

Thanks, the MEAC was the one conference I was wondering about, but the Celebration bowl was making me question.
