When quarterback Davis Alexander hit wide receiver Mataio Talalemotu on a 49-yard pass on the initial play of Portland State's Spring Football Game, the defense could have fallen back on its heels for the rest of the day. But the 50-play scrimmage didn't quite work out that way.
