WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - Despite grabbing an early lead and holding the opposing batting order to just three hits, Penn (7-18-1, 3-5-1 Ivy) suffered a close 3-1 loss to Monmouth (9-18, 3-6 MAAC) Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks battled back from down one, picking up the tying run in the fifth and another two in the sixth to lock up the victory over the Quakers.
