PHILADELPHIA -*The sun was shining and the snow was melted as the University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track and field programs opened their outdoor season on Saturday at Franklin Field. Both the men and women tallied five first place showings on the day, but the highlight came from sophomore Maura Kimmel who set two new program records in both the discus and shot put, leading a group of eight top-10 performances on the women's side.
