He caught 8 passes for 102 yards off a 5-4 junior college squad. Not sure that sort of production is worth the PR problem.

Oh don't worry. The students are already trying to set things on fire here.

Oh don't worry. The students are already trying to set things on fire here.Is it due to thr fact that they are trying to warm up from the arctic weather and they figured if they'd burn ****, it would suddenly warm up?

So lame... c’mon man. I had to stop listening to the radio to type this! Don’t make me do it again!

For the others that might think twice about this kid, we alumni did too. After Auburn lifted all restrictions on this kid and changed his status to “in good standing” I feel better about this kid getting a second chance... Again, here in SEC country, JSU gets the benefit of some highly recruited kids looking for more playing time. Nothing unusual here......

Not only do we have the 4* TE that got himself in trouble, but we also have a 4* LB, Tre Threat, transferring as well. Now, we just have to do something with what we have... damn it ta hell !!!!!

Tennessee State also landed the Alabama LB that almost went after one of his assistant coaches during the CFP national championship game.

isn't TSU the same team that had a player sucker punch a coach a while back?

Yep. But to both parties' defense, the transfer went through back in December, before the game.

Same story as always. Just because you were a better athlete than your high school competition and found a way to get parlay that into a college offer at a power 5 school only to get then kicked off the team before you proved anything to anyone doesn't mean you are actually a good football player.

"Jacksonville State University conducted a very thorough investigation surrounding all of the facts on Landon Rice, just like we do on any of our recruits," according to a statement from JSU. "After speaking with several officials from Auburn University and getting all of the facts surrounding the investigation, and after meeting with Landon, we decided to allow Landon to enroll at JSU and join our football program."
In other words he did it and we dont give a ****.

Do lie detectors work?

Yes. Although psychopaths can apparently beat them sometimes. The average Joe? No.

FYP. All you need to do is be deluded enough to believe what you are saying, or as we call it, be a liberal.

"A lee county grand jury declined to indict Rice on the charge."

That should speak volumes about the case against him.

Never arrested, never convicted, but held "responsible" by the school in a Title IX investigation and barred from campus, though that was later rescinded and he put in good standing.

This sounds like someone cut a deal, but it's a bizarre set of facts.

If this guy is the victim of Title IX facists (some schools have rules that make North Korean courts look fair), then he should be publicly exonerated.
To kick him off the team, expel him from school, and ban him from campus quite prominently, and later quietly tell other schools "oh, nevermind" is inexcusable.

Unlike others, we have respected the confidentiality of the Title IX inquiry, even though we vehemently disagreed with the way it was conducted," Rice's lawyers said in a statement to USA TODAY Sports. "The Title IX inquiry completely lacked due process, which is unfortunate for Landon or anyone else accused at Auburn University. The untrained individuals who investigated this charge did not provide Landon a hearing, did not permit cross-examination of the accuser or witnesses, and totally disregarded serious contradictions in the most relevant testimony. Landon passed a polygraph test that specifically asked whether he had ever forced his accuser to have sex in any manner, whether all their encounters had been consensual, and whether he’d ever forced her to have sex after she refused."
