Former Wofford OL Tarek Odom collapsed and died playing a recreational flag football game. He graduated in 2015 and was still very much in the prime of life. From all accounts he was a very fine young man. It is always tragic when a life is lost this young. My prayers for his family and friends.

Man it is always tough to see a thing like this. Wish the best for the family and friends in such a tough time with many questions and zero answers.

Really sad news. Condolences to all.

Reminded me, sadly, of the also recent & untimely passing of El Cid’s great DLman, Mitchell Jeter.

One Mercer Bear OG that I know well told me that these 2 men, by far, were the best DL players he played against during 2014 & 2015. He spoke of Odom’s unbelievable athleticism & Jeter’s relentless determination. Sounds like both were even better men.

Stay safe young men & cherish every day. Prayers.
