Not a flashy hire and I know a lot of RMU people were high on some other names (like YSU's OC Shane Montgomery and Westminster (PA-D3) head coach and former RMU assistant Scott Benzel) but I think this is a solid choice. I'll be anxious to see who he has on his staff.

Defensive Coordinator at Albany the past 4 years is impressive. Albany has been very solid on that side of the ball over that time period.
