So by my count 9 of JMU's 11 defensive starters are all-conference. 6 first teamers, 1 second teamer, and 2 third teamers.

Impressive and yet odd that Jordan Brown is not 1st team safety' he leads the CAA in INTs at 6 (second highest nationally), and really the most dominant player in the secondary.

Really odd that a team Nova pummeled 31-0 (Maine) puts 8 players on these 3 teams. BTW Nova had 4. LB Jeff Steeb was snubbed. Better than some on these teams.

I feel these teams are based on reputation & not actual play. Not all, but some. xpeacex

That's pretty good...

also had a starter, CB Charles Tutt, miss the entire season after a camp injury. he’ll have two more seasons after redshirting this year. few teams can lose a starting CB, then have two different CBs step up as first teamers.

Yep, Delaware DB Ray Jones not being included on the list is a perfect example of that
