Thoughts on Caylin Newton?

Really good player. I don't think he is one of the five best in the country but he is up there. Fun to watch as a runner. I left him out of the top 5 because of his poor TD-INT ratio.

This...very much this. Dude will be back with a vengeance.

Also, I hope to see our QB Sean McGuire on this list eventually. I understand why not yet. If he can replicate the success he had with Lenoir last year and Acklin this year (my guess is with Brandon Gaston next year), then I gotta think he's going to be up there.

I went with Cox instead since I expect a huge year from him and I'm not sure where Menard is in terms of health right now.

I almost put him in there. NDSU has a ton of good defenders returning. I do think Cox has a better chance being a linebacker.

Cox does look like a man among boys out on the field, even as a Freshman.

On a somewhat related and slightly juvenile note I sure am glad that his name isn't going to show up as Jabril *** on this board for 4 years like former Duquesne LB Christian ****z's (http://tinyurl.com/y8nbrq62) name did on all of these POY/AA lists over the last few years before this one.

Yes. That was a huge pain. I wish someone would have changed the filter so it would have shown correctly!

I wish there was a checkbox to turn the filter on and off. I would pay to have that option if we had to outsource it to be created.

Idk about vbulletin, but in phpbb, I know that it's an option that can be turned on or off. I think you can probably specify words too. So if you wanted to just filter out the 2-3 "big ones" and leave the rest, you could.

EDIT - just to be clear, that's on the forum admin's end...not the individual user's

Right. I would send Ursus money for an option to be created for all users to have the option to turn the filter on and off. I feel like most of us, if not all of us are at least 21 and I get why the filter is on for those who are not "members" of the forum, but for those of us who are, it would be a nice option to have. I am not in anyway complaining at all, but just something to keep on the backburner for future days.

Sounds like a good "offseason" discussion in between which team's helmets are the shiniest and if your head coach was a vegetable, which vegetable would he be (if he's not already one).

So Jensen is on the short list for the Rice this year but not on the watch list for Payton next year? I think it stands to reason that he's only going to improve as he gains experience.
