A little over 4,000 in Hanover for Dartmouth-Cornell. Would have been nice to be more, but that number is par for the course for this type of game at this time of year.

That's more than I thought would show up considering the mid-day heat and the beginning of hunting season.

There might have been 2,000 at Christ Matthewson Stadium for Bucknell's HOMECOMING GAME with Lehigh. I swear almost half the crowd was Lehigh. Amazed at how well the Brown & White were represented considering the cluster of a season we've had.

This means donors bought and then couldn't give away 1,200 tickets since the game was sold out.

Ouch, a little low huh? thought a ranked SBU team playing the rival would hit 10k

3508 at Alumni Day which was dubbed as our “White Out” game. The only white out there was our offense. BTW in typical Nova fashion only about 500 fans were in white. Smh.

Bark in the Park day for Delaware game may be in the works. xpeacex

UMaine plays games in Portland once in awhile? I didn't know that.

I checked...first one in Portland since 2005. Interestingly UMaine's 1st evah game in Portland was 0-0 tie with Holy Cross in 1906!

Portland is a great little city btw...they have a waterfront section akin to Newport, RI or Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

Would love to go a HC-Maine game in Portland some day.

Some of that yeah, but actually most of it was the student crowd. Very disappointing how many students didn’t show up.

Not too mad about it myself. 5 years ago I could never have imagined a crowd of 18,000 in Brookings that was not mainly bison fans.

Yesterday was a big step for the program.

Such a gorgeous town on the coast. If I could, I would go back there right now, but for cities/towns in between there and Boston, I would choose Portsmouth 10/10 though. It is situated in between both and they have some of the best beer I have ever had the chance to drink. I also enjoy how it is not so hustle and bustle 24/7 like one would get in Boston, and not so isolated like Portland can feel.

Central Connecticut played #15 (USA Today/ESPN poll) Maine in Portland to open the 2002 season. Maine would finish that season with an 11-3 record and was ranked #6 in TSN I-AA Poll.

The non-scholarship Blue Devils were hammered by the Black Bears 52-3, and lost by an identical score the following week in Amherst vs. UMass. However, that was the beginning, under former head coach Paul Schedel, to upgrade the CCSU football schedule.

----

A very disappointing 2,211 in New Britain on a brisk, but beautiful afternoon to watch CCSU bring its winning streak to 6 games, and move to 4-0 in the NEC with a 28-10 win over Saint Francis.

The winning streak is the longest for the Blue Devils since they also won six games in a row during the 2009 season.

I agree, but it was actually an improvement to the 6,878 the Yale-Brown game drew at New Haven in 2015.

That doesn't surprise me at all...knowing what I know about the east coast towns and west coast towns, Portland, ME is probably like 200 years older than Portland, OR...but as someone not from New England, when I hear Portland, I think of Oregon before I think of Maine.

FWIW, at every Lehigh/Georgetown game I’ve attended in DC (3 games) at least half of the crowd has been Lehigh fans.

So what’s the over on Harvard@Yale Attendance in 2 weeks? I doubt it will be much over 45K, even if the Ivy title is on the line. Most of the older alums are dying off faster than they can be replaced, and the Yale students are too preoccupied with identity politics and their iPhones.

Never thought I’d ever hear mid day heat and hunting season together.

More like w2-300 and the rest was student turn out. We don’t sell of give out actual tickets to students so it’s impossible to take what’s left and resell it. Outside of that I saw less empty seats than a game at the mall.

Seems like the kids are staying home everywhere instead of attending games. Heard a talk show from BHam even say the mighty alabama has taken two sections away from students because they were sitting empty each week. Unless you live in a rat hole with absolutely nothing else to offer, the students are finding other things to do. Sad really!

Believe Portland has more microbreweries per captia then any other city and if Portland is isolated being 45 minutes from Portsmouth don't ever go to Oronoxnodx

Tickets used. Students did not show up. Too many Minnesotan's going home for deer hunting.

That said, what is it with the entitlement mentality of Bison fans and some in Fargo "media"? Amazing how stuck on stupid so many up north are. Next time Sell needs to simply send a package of 2,000 tickets to the cheerleaders on Bison 1660 so they can hand out tickets to the 1% of Bison fans who are Bisonville posters. That may be the only thing that makes those of you who can't figure out how the world works, happy.
