It began last season when local HS star Justise Hariston chose to finish his college carrrer at CCSU after spending 3 years at Rutgers. A former Big East all-rookie pick and BE player of the week led the Bue Devils to an 8-3 record while leading the nation in rushing yards. He has recieved numerous accolades and is a prospect for the upcoming NFL draft.

CCSU announced that Ken Tinney (6-0, 190 lbs, Ansonia, CT) is already enrolled and taking classes at CCSU, and will participate in spring practice. Tinney is a "4 star" recruit who was offered by UConn, Sryacuse, Iowa, Miami, Michigan and State. Tinney prepped at Milford Acadamey and was released from the Michigan State last fall.

And today it was just reported by the Hartford Courant that UConn backup fullback Anthony Barksdale is looking to trnsfer to Central Connecticut.

Stonybrook added 3 this year, from Kansas, Indiana and Mason from Pitt.
