I really wouldn't call this an upset. The line was Penn by 2 and many on the Ivy board thought Columbia should be favored.

In any event, its a nail biter.

You really think so? Dartmouth had a pretty tough time with SHU today. Four of their 5 wins were very close. I think that their luck is going to run out soon.

Penn had that game in hand and blew it. I'm not happy about that. I have to give Columbia credit though, and I'm glad to see Al Bagnoli getting the job done at the school in the shadow of Grant's Tomb.

I don't see them beating you guys, but it would do Columbia a world of good to make the rankings just once. I believe the last time they received votes was 1996.

We will see what they are made of after their next two against Dartmouth and Yale on the road though.

Disappointed to see my boys at Penn struggling right now though.

They laid an egg against CCSU, sure. But they are 0-2 in the Ivy on two games where the last play was literally the go-ahead touchdown. And the teams they lost to are undefeated.

They'll be fine.
