On Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at 3 pm, the Missouri State Bears vs. Western Illinois Leathernecks will help raise awareness for Team Gleason and ALS by wearing Team Gleason decals on their helmets.
Western Illinois Head Football Coach Charlie Fisher and Missouri State Head Football Coach Dave Steckel have each committed $1,000 and challenge their fans to support Steve and Team Gleason in their mission to:
1. Help provide individuals with neuromuscular diseases or injuries with leading edge technology, equipment and services.
2. Create a global conversation about ALS to ultimately find solutions and an end to the disease.
3. Raise public awareness toward ALS by providing and documenting extraordinary life adventures for individuals with muscular diseases or injuries.
