Not sure of the official number, but from the crowd shots of Hillsboro High it looked liked Griz fans outnumbered Vikings about 3:1.

Our announced attendance for WIU vs USD was 5631.

In other news, our method for counting attendance is broken.

Idk how many of you other MVFC people watched the game online, but how'd it look to you?
Based on what I could see from the band/alumni band section, it looked more like 10k-12k. A USD fan that was there thought it was 8k-9k.
I know for sure that it was the most-attended game I've seen in a LONG time...maybe in a decade. Although the number doesn't report that. Two AD's ago, this game would have been announced as 17k fans (I remember a homecoming game against Illinois State back then that had about the same number of fans, and it was announced at over 16k).

I've heard that they only count people with tickets. Problem is, students get in free without tickets...they just show their ID's and walk in...no counting, no tickets, nothing.

Didn't watch but from what I hear less than half of that had the stones to stick it out until the end.

Yeah. Not half, but if a few more had left it might have started looking as empty as Washington-Grizzly looked last week in the 4th quarter.

8,082 at Zable for the "almost" comeback against the Seawolves.

Most all of these turnouts reported here and previously seem down from previous years, 10-30%. Not only FCS - was strange to see so many empty seats at Florida yesterday, even a corner of empty seats at Tech last night vs. Clemson. Football I think is slipping as must see entertainment for many students across the country.

For reference....

7,696 at UMass yesterday against Ohio U. That's lower than their average CAA games over five years ago.

Someone needs to face reality in Amherst and hustle this program back to the CAA before the decision moves to just pulling the plug on football altogether there.

SWAC Numbers
Alcorn State @ Texas Southern (2,785)-----TSU historically draws bad
Jackson State @ Prairie View (6,601)
Fort Valley State @ Southern (12,958)
Alabama A&M *Homecoming* vs. UAPB (15,685)
Grambling vs. Clark-Atlanta *Chicago Classic* (16,429)----disappointing considering this game drew 35k a year ago with two D2 HBCUs and this number is the lowest in 20 years.

North Carolina Central @ FAMU(Thursday Night) (18,488)
Savannah State @ Bethune-Cookman (6,945)

officially 13,341 was a sell out with SRO in end zones - we had people standing, and we had students looking for empty season ticket holders seats on east side. But guessing we had some 500+ empty season ticket holders seats.

If Texas Southern is going to have crowds like that, they should probably move their games back to their campus.

2,073 reported at Wagner's excuse for a football stadium. Horrid. The players are getting taped under the stands along with the fans looking for the one bathroom.,,,which some of the football players are using because of 'limited facilities' in the locker room...I could go on. But, they do have a video board!

If only the FCS could have stricter requirements like FBS does on facilities and capacities

Playing at BBVA is a plus for them but their fans only show up for the Prairie View game. They get good numbers when Southern and Grambling comes to town due to the amount of SU and GSU fans that travel in.

You're welcome! That's my first post back here in quite a few years. There hasn't been much to post about in recent years...at least anything positive. Most of us Aggie fans, what's left of us, are almost afraid to get our hopes up too high though. It's been a rough go for our once proud football program.

Students are great. (Insert sarcasm here)

However, the Away side entrance was very spotty as well. I can't remember but is that sections 17-21?

People on the Ivy board are questioning that number. They estimate about 6,000 to 7,000. Still disappointing, though.
