Poor clock management and play selection. You want to win against the big guys, you gotta try and find a way to win, not run out the clock when you are trailing.

Wouldn't go that far. Quick compare/contrast

1) Elon runs a different offense (obviously); it was easier for Furman to defend the option because they're more in tune with that system and can recreate it in a practice setting

2) full summer to practice against option; further, just in general because of the clock-eating nature of the option it's a lot easier to upset a team by keeping it lower scoring (look what JSU is doing to GT right now)

3) Furman has made more mistakes in this one. Early turnover. Blaze hasn't completed a pass I don't think.

4) Elon, unlike Wofford, had actual film of what Furman would try to do using Furman personnel, etc.

All is not lost though, they are running a decent drive with the need for points. Stay tuned, this isn't Kennesaw

Yep, I had issues with the JSU stream so moved to Furman. Actually I have 4 games going on my apple tv display, but I rotate to full screen mode and then go back to the grid to see how the other three are going and full screen to the more interesting

I don't think it's only FCS - I trawled r/cfb and people were complaining about the streams of Louisville-UNC, Cincinnati-Michigan, etc.

They just didn't invest at a macro level.
