Not sure if it counts as week one but the Crapton Bowl only drew 12,952. We could have sold out Burgess-Snow.

Meh.

Skeegee REALLY gets up for Bama St. They are in their head, imho. Kinda' sorta' reminds me of another team who folds when they see a black/gold G on the side of the opponent's head. :(

G sure did come back fast, I remember a few years ago the articles about doomsday....

Figures had 34,000 at Oregon State against Portland State, although some media had the actual attendance at around 20,000.

One newspaper report had a bit over 8k at McLane Stadium in Waco for the rescheduled SHSU/Richmond. I was there and I would say that is pretty close.

38,000 in dreary Charlottesville to see the Tribe stuff UVA's running attack (but lose game 28-10).

SDSU drew 12,200, with 4,500 students for Thurs nite game vs Duquesne. Reasonable crowd, and much better student count than a Labor Day Sat game would have been.

We got inside the redzone 4 times and came away with 0 points. You cant do that and expect to win. We've now have only beaten them 6 times in the last 20 meetings.:(

Attendance was 23,160 for the Griz/Valpo game. Not a sellout, but understandable considering the 97 degree weather, unhealthy amounts of smoke, and an opponent with little name recognition to most fans.

ISU had 10,840 with capacity for 13,200. Not good for opener, but not bad for a weak opponent on holiday weekend.

Air quality is probably much better too!

We got some fishy numbers coming out of our games, even with half our stadium leveled, albeit replaced with a beer tent. Reported as 7467, but there was no way it was that low. The home side (only side), was very full with a few seats here and there empty. It holds 10K+ and that does not include the club level and private boxes. There is some talk that our numbers have not included the Corps of Cadets which makes no sense. Even if you account for the excused cadets, it would be at least 1700-2000 cadets attending. Got to get an official statement on whether the cadets are counted or not. Sounds like there is some creative counting going on for some reason which is yet to be revealed.

NDSU. Full house to start and a morque by halftime. Over 18000 to start We stayed to the bitter end with the other 1000 people. It took me 30 seconds to get out of the parking lot and that is usually a half hour project

My 7.5 year old son asked if we could stay for the entire game. "Absolutely!" I said. Like you said it was very easy to get out of there and there were not many people left by the end.
