STATS only put 22 names on their list and the CFPA is missing WR Emmanuel Butler of NAU, SDSU TE Dallas Goedert, North Carolina A&T OT Brandon Parker, and Lehigh WR Troy Pelletier. I don’t see how any of those guys can be missing from a 42 player list. I don't see how JSU RB Roc Carter or Grambling RB Martez Carter did not make this list.

Stony Brook OT Timon Parris is another name who is getting overlooked. He is better than Davenport of Bucknell who went in the 4th round. He is probably the best OL in FCS and he is not getting the hype.

Don't forget that Princeton QB/RB John Lovett is hurt so I would leave him off lists like this as well.

I am certainly no freaking Jackrabbit fan but Dallas Goedert from SDSU should be on ant list for the top offensive player (even though it doesn't say anything aboit offense only) of the year.

The fact there was no defensive player on this or the Payton list means they are for the best offensive player. I don't see how a list for the top overall player would never include a defensive player. Both awards have always been meant for offense

I assumed it was for any player since it didn't say offensive and then didn't see Nick. DeLuca mentioned and immediately realized it was an offensive list only.

Luke you said it should be best player whether that is offensive or defensive.
