One person on here wanted it, so if you haven't seen it already...
Bobby announced it at the banquet last night.

9-1 Presbyterian
9-8 @ Hofstra
9-15 @ Clemson
9-22 -open-
9-29 Wofford
10-6 CCU
10-13 @ Citadel
10-20 @ Chatt
10-27 Appy
11-3 Elon
11-10 @ GSU
11-17 @ WCU

And on to meaningless predictions:

9-1 Presbyterian W (With Bentley at the helm, I expect PC to throw it 50 times)
9-8 @ Hofstra W, but close...on the road in the north is not a situation that smiles upon the paladins
9-15 @ Clemson L, lose by one score, half the team is injured
9-22 -open-
9-29 Wofford W, early enough in the year to avoid Wofford's annual hot streak
10-6 CCU W, and ugly
10-13 @ Citadel W, in 7 overtimes
10-20 @ Chatt W, 800 yards passing between the two teams
10-27 Appy um......
11-3 Elon W
11-10 @ GSU L, late season trips to Paulson never go well
11-17 @ WCU W, close-ish if Western can hold on to half of their defensive line

So, 8 wins, two losses, and App.

App does belong in its own category;40-7

I should note that, in the last decade, App has only 1 victory at Paladin Stadium (13-10, 2003--sloppiest game in years).

I understand that Presby's new coach is from Furman, but boy did they do well with scheduling the SoCon this year (WCU and FU). Is this another CCU?

Actually, PC's new coach is Bobby Bentley, former head coach at Byrnes High School (national powerhouse outside of Spartanburg, SC). PC's new defensive coordinator, on the other hand, is from Furman.

I like how that schedule sets up for us.

I appreciate getting Wofford out of the way early. I like having Elon at home before going to Paulson. I agree with Larry, any game in Statesboro scares the mess out of me, I don't care what their record. Furman is something like 1-10 there (though that 1 was fantastic).

Looks like a good schedule for Furman. Best of luck this season except for your trip to Paulson :)

You boys won't be able to load up on us like you did in our last visit to Cullowhee. Glad to see you aren't playing Mars Hill the week before :smiley_wi

Glad our game is in November. We need to win a few more to kinda get a good rivalry going again between the two of us since we're so close in proximity.

GO CATAMOUNTS!!!

You wish. Regardless, one of the marks in the W column will certainly be one we bring home from Charleston. Why don't y'all just go ahead and tatoo a horseshoe print on that bulldogs butt?xlolx

I'm glad to see we are sandwhiched between two SoCon games.

I'm looking forward to the trip. My neighbor played for Furman and he has told me all about it.
