Might as well hold the game in the northeast if that's the case.

It's 5 today where I live and 45 will seem downright tropical when the plane lands Fri Morn in Frisco! Really looking forward to the game!

Forecast for Fargo this week is highs of 0 and lows of -15°F. Warm is a relative term.

There's no bad weather, just bad wardrobe. Silk long johns, fleece-lined jeans, wool socks, a down coat with a few layers underneath, and a hat and scarf - good to go! Hot buttered rum instead of beer for tailgating.

Dude, it's sunny and 76 degrees right now this very second in the greater Houston area and 50 degrees in the dfw metroplex. We're only a smidget past 230 miles from the dfw metroplex. The weather here is quite iffy in Jan/Feb. Wait 24-36 hours after a freeze and it'll quickly return to warm. You have to figure for 2 differing weather extremes this time of year.

The weather unpredictability was a contributing factor when the Fiesta overtook the Cotton as a "Big 4" bowl in the mid 90s. Now that they have climate controlled Jerry World, it's back in the playoff mix of 6 bowls.

It's the same way over here, it's gone from around 70 one day to 35 the next then back to 70 the next several times. It was in the 60's today and we are supposed to snow Friday before returning back to the mid-60's.

They're calling it "climate change" now. :D

Too bad Beach isn't shown on that map. The only town in the US called simply "Beach", and it's as far from an ocean as you can get.

I bet when they got around to naming the town somebody said "Bitch" and the other person heard it wrong and sent the wrong name in. ;)

Yeah, too bad for the visitors you come down and it happens to be the coldest day of the year. By Monday it will be 60s and Tuesday will be 70s. Timing.... of course the Bison didn't have to play here when it was this cold. This is just another Frisco conspiracy to make non-Bison teams feel unwelcome as jsu says.

I remember wearing winter gear when ISU played NDSU so although this weather is an anomaly it is not a first.

Sunny, hardly any wind, dry? I don't care it's 20 degrees - that's great football weather.

I had on two jackets, hat, gloves, my feet were frozen by the end of the game. I survived on adrenaline alone. But weather reports were similar that year of mid-40's. The wind that day just cut through you and there wasn't much or any sun shining that day. Brrrrrrrrr....

The field should be fine. From my understanding the reason '13 was so bad was they re-sodded it and it froze before the sod could grow into the soil.
