Portland State defensive tackle Anthony Del Toro pulled off a double rarity in his first season as a Viking. First, he competed as a true freshman on the defensive line - something most players out of high school are not physically mature enough to pull off. Second, he started every game of the season - something only two other Viking defenders were able to do. As a result, Del Toro was named to the Hero Sports FCS All-Freshman Team for 2016.
