Right? I can't add much because I haven't seen 3 of those above him, (the not Kupp 3) but it makes me go 'huh'. I went to their TCU game and him and Goedert were tearing them apart for much of the game. SDSU's defense, not so much.

This list is garbage for every reason. Especially paper dragon Briscoe being #1 team QB.

I thought Kupp and Wieneke were the 2 best WR's this year.

They shouldn't give honors to players from teams that won't participate in the NCAA tournament

He's a big snub but at least he didn't get snubbed by a guy who (according to his school's stat sheet) has one tackle THE WHOLE YEAR.

And at least Weinke made the list.

Who's that? I'm assuming a DB that made it over Bridges. BTW, our Safety Dempsey I thought would make it as well.

I just went back and looked and I didn't see "punter" next to their name on the list. Oops. Guess that would explain having one tackle.

The format of the list is god awful.

Still Bridges, based on the other stats from the first teamers should have made the list. The guy forced 9 turnovers by himself for crying out loud.

I know he was on a sucky team but this guy was a beast: Glad he made it.

Linebackers — Garrett Dolan, junior, Houston Baptist
11 games
47 solo tackles
88 assisted tackles
135 total tackles
12.3 tackles per game

I was hoping that UND OL Michael Coe would make it. Was a very critical piece to the puzzle this year, as he moved from Center to RT to LT based on injuries and was very good at all spots.

Wieneke being on 3rd team says more about the voters than it does about him. Jake already holds almost every major receiving record in MVFC history with still a year to go and did so during a stretch in which the conference has been the hands down the best league in the FCS.

Kupp is the only receiver that should be above Wieneke.

So what.

78 rep 1316 yards 16 TDs speaks for itself.

Well he has fewer yards and only 2 more TDs than the guy from Samford who played 2 less games. He also had fewer yards than both the Richmond and St. Francis guy as well. I mean sure it seems like a stretch until you look that it could be really close between all of them.
