Figured a good light post since its about 24 hours till my first Bloody Mary!!!

Yep, We all love to do it. Hell, sometimes I tailgate at home when I can't make the games....I will be eating my go to finger foods and sipping favorite fall outdoor libations on my porch tomorrow to prepare. So what is your must have for a tailgate? What ate the one or two items that define your tailgate?

Not too many FCS schools with that kind of pre party. Random Side Thought: I use to live in Lexington KY, it was almost impossible to get parking passes for the UK football games, the parking lots were slammed with 80-100k tailgating....the stadium only held about 55-60k, and it was rarely filled past 30k for the games. THey may suck, but their fans knew how to party!

For me personally, I gotta have brats and beer.

I grill/cook different things based on the time of year, but people really enjoy the Frogmore Stew (September) and Fried Turkey (November).

Maybe we should be at El Cid or Savannah St., but our signature is a low country boil with good beer. We actually have three different groups in our lot that do it now. We're jerryrigging an Oyster Roast tomorrow for the playoff game!

I am not a fan of beans. I support them through sugar cane and wheat.

Don't use sugar from cane. Sugar beats.

Cmon KP damn it. If you're not going to throw beans in your chili like the good lord intended at least use the right sugar. 👍

Two pots of chili slow-cooking tonight, mine made with beef tips & diced tomatoes, my friend's with chicken & corn (maybe not chili, but it's good), beer made mostly around here, bourbon and a big tray of good salami and cheeses from my buddy who works at a deli. If you're a Youngstown State fan look for us across from the sand volleyball court, under the canopy with three flags: a JSU flag, the Alabama state flag and the Jolly Roger; you'll have all you want to eat and drink.

I am a little different. Everyone who knows me knows that. Now I just got to keep my buzz and wake up for tailgating on time.

I've seen lots of Crown, Jack etc....but you are the first that listed the MUST HAVE for any tailgate. Depending on the Mood, I'm a Woodford's Double Oaked or EligahCraig 18 year guy....What's you poison Jax?

I'm the beer guy, and it's my friends who bring the bourbon, so I leave it up to them and don't know much about variety or quality myself. But last night we broke into a bottle of Buffalo Trace one of the guys brought while prepping chili. I couldn't find anything to complain about.

Just be sure to space it out evenly, you would want to tip the island over.

To be clear, Yuengling cans. I can only get the bottles in the NYC area, bring cases of the cans back every time I go upstate.
