Decent breakdown and appreciate the effort but you can definitely tell they don't do any research on other conferences. The MVFC has several prolific passing attacks this year in SIU, WIU, and SDSU. I doubt Samford has a stronger passing attack or better offensive line than SDSU, and I doubt they will be able to throw all over them. They might win no doubt, but I don't see them just going and torching the flightless birds.

Not that it's any huge deal compared to SIU or SDSU, but in terms of yards per game, our sophomore QB Sean McGuire put up the best performance in WIU history this season. It was only 5th in WIU history (and 20th in MVFC history) for total yards though, because we only played 11 games this season and all of WIU's top 5 total yardage performances were 12 or 13 game seasons (either due to 12-game season and/or playoff games). The MVFC record books don't list a ranking of passing yards per game in a season, just total yards in a season.

Then again, offense was rarely our biggest problem this year.
