Yup, very disappointing show by the defense letting the Bears drive up the field with under 5 minutes left and the offensive play calling...jesus. Could very well be a year where both Montana schools don't make the playoffs, props to UNC they have really improved since joining the conference.

I'll go back to this again. I don't think Stitt is very good coach, he is okay but his schemes are too simple for D1. Neither does Montana have athletes like Baylor, or Texas Tech. The offensive schemes rely too much on the QB.

Stitt wasn't the best candidate for the job. He was the best candidate who is ALSO a latter day saint like the Athletic Director Haslam is.

I have to agree with this, personally I would love to go back to an offense that we had under Hauk or even the Triple Option (my favorite offense in all of football) but looks like we will probably be stuck with Stitt for at least one more year, here is hoping we can clean this **** up and hopefully we can still get in at 7-4, doubt it though. Hell if this team shows up against MSU it wouldn't shock me if the Cats upset us, very disappointed in our effort today.

Did not know. He also has trouble making adjustments. If his game plan fails, he keeps trying slight variations. I don't mean to trash talk him, and I do think with the right athletes Montana could be a top 10 team. I just don't see them doing it consistently.

Northern Colorado beating Montana is not an upset, we do not have a very good football team. Griz never at any point of the season should have been ranked higher than 20. We suck and its not going to change much in the next few years.

I was going to say the same thing - I don't think Northern Colorado over Montana is an upset - they were tied in the conference standings going into this game.

Same thing for Weber over Cal-Poly. They were both tied in the conference before the game.

I know conference standings don't necessarily correlate with which team is better, especially in the Big Sky where we don't play all the teams. But I think both of these pairs have been playing ball at similar levels this year.
