A quality foe for the Hornets...

Delaware St had Northwestern St on the road last year. They're no slouches when it comes to a good OOC game...though I know many U-Dub folks want to see a DSU/Del matchup...

From a selfish standpoint this is great. Delaware plays 2 days earlier in Williamsburg and there will be no NASCAR race across the street unlike the SIU - DSU game in 2004.

I look forward to seeing CCU and this will be a good measure of DSU and the MEAC. The DSU faithful will not see this as a big game so getting in will not be a problem. For me it is all win win.

I'd put the desire by Hens fans to see a UD/DSU game at 20% for, 20% against and 60% don't give a rats arse. Henfan is in the first 20, I'm in the second 20 and most of the other Hen posters are in the 60.

Come on 89Hen, you read the same Bluehen websites I do. It's a sore topic that generates huge threads each time it's brought up. I'd say 80% for, 10% who don't give a s..t, and 10% old school Delaware Dupont types who don't want to play DSU. It's a crime we don't play DSU on an annual basis. IMO of course.
