Taking out CCU and putting in #26 Wofford, they got all 25 right. Now, in some haphazard order but its a start 10 weeks in....

I'm really glad the MEAC doesn't send their champion to the playoffs. The arguments that NC A&T should be seeded would make my head hurt.

Well NC A&T does have two FBS teams on the schedule.

However, despite that Massey has them at 92nd in SOS while SHSU is at 82nd.

A&T is undefeated against FCS teams. The coaches and the writers always seem to love that fact, and they vote accordingly.xscanx

Here we are again being judged based on the historical performance of MEAC schools? Over the last few years I think we've proven ourselves out of conference. This year we beat fbs, Kent St and lost to a very good Tulsa team 21-58. Perhaps the ranking is a few spots high but I have no doubt we'd hold our own against most of the top 25. I only regret that we can't participate in the playoffs if we win the conference.

You just validated his comment with the bolded. No one is saying the MEAC champ wouldn't belong, just always dicey when it would get into a seed vs. non-seed discussion. Same arguments were made when Fordham and Lehigh were getting close/in to the seed discussion.

I'm not judging you on historical MEAC performance, I'm judging you on this year's MEAC performance.... which is pitiful. Two of 11 teams have winning records... which is kind of amazing considering 75% of the schedule is intra-conference. Somebody has to win those games. The rest of the MEAC outside of A&T went 2-24 OOC this year. You get points for beating Kent St but that's still a "meh" win for me. Kent St would slot in at 17th in the FCS according to Sagarin and 19th according to Massey (if I'm counting correctly). In other words, it's not exactly a win that gives you top ten or seed cred. Not that there's anything NC A&T can do about their ultra-soft conference but it still hurts their ranking. If they crush NC Central I can see them being justified in the 15 range. I'm actually excited to see a potential matchup between them and Grambling in the Celebration Bowl, I think Grambling is solid and I have them ranked slightly ahead of NC A&T in my AGS poll ballot.

Kinda wish we could see either NC A&T or Grambling State in the playoffs. Agree with most of your points, otherwise, though...

Not in a rivalry game in Durham; with the 'ship on the line. Y'all might as well get ready to accept the farmers as an at-large.
