you think our offense is only going to score 20 points?

I'll give it to you that a low scoring game is definitely in Nova's favor but our worst outing this season was @ UNC with 28. Even then, we had 28 first downs and almost 500 yards of offense. A couple of drives that failed on UNC's side of the field and a missed field goal also made the score not very representative. This is the best, most complete team JMU has had on the offensive side of the ball in a long time. Possibly ever.

I guess we'll see come Sat. xlolx

Sure you ran the score up on a few defenseless teams. I'm impressed with the 47 @ Richmond, but they did have 43. I guess UNH too.

Big deal about UNC stats. We gave up 86 yards rushing & 260 total to Pitt. We lost too 28-7. So what ?

There's nothing I can write that can change your mind. I will just say Villanova has a defense that may make you stand up & take notice, but honestly if Nova won 51-50 I won't be upset.

And Nova has played by far the three worst teams in the conference in Rhode Island, Elon and Towson. We've played one of them so far. So yeah, our in-conference SOS is definitely stronger right now. Massey looks like that because of our two cupcake games at the start of the season.

Because recent performance is a lot better predictor of the future than what happened two months ago. Instead of playing @UNH (26), W&M (54) and UD (56)... Nova played, Albany (41), Towson (74), @Elon (92). Obviously you can only play the teams on your schedule, but JMU got dealt a significantly more difficult one. We played 3 teams coming off bye weeks...

Don't get me wrong, I have a huge amount of respect for this Nova team, but our offense is a juggernaut.
