Little surprised by the first half. NDSU seems to be able to move the ball pretty good when not shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties. Frazier is out with a rib injury. We are suddenly thin at RB.

On defense we might kill Dunne if they don't start running some quicker slants, screens or out routes. So far they haven't been able to run much at all.

I think the play clock guy is on autopilot. If you noticed towards the end of the half on that UNI holding call the play clock was running out as the referee was making the call. xconfusedx

EDIT: FWIW even the NDSU guy (Lee Timmerman) said the PI was a good call. No clue what the **** he was looking at though to make that judgement. Sure looked ticky-tack from the replays they showed.

ES's confidence is not there. He was bad last week in Macomb and today he was poor also.

Some of you Bison fans need to chill the **** out and realize other teams have good players as well. Expecting to win every game by 40 is stupid and arrogant. That's the same UNI team that won by 60 last week so relax and pay attention.

Any win at UNI is a good win in my book, we never play well there. Back to back road wins, against WIU and UNI...while it wasn't pretty the team got it done. Finish strong and the playoffs go thru Fargo once again.

No one is expecting 40 point wins but the offense is really struggling and ES has no confidence....pretty easy to see. Frustrating for Bison fans.

Well if you can keep us out of the endzone in the first half you have a real good chance of winning.

The key to beating NDSU this year is to let the Bison get out to a 2 TD lead midway through the 3rd. That's when you give them get the ball around midfield. In past years, this would mean that you are going to lose by 35. However, this year, the next play is guaranteed to be a TO and from that point you just wait while NDSU pisses the game down their leg until there's, say, 1 second left in the game and *boom* you score the winning points. Easy. Can't believe that UNI could not follow that simple script. :)

Seriously, I'm very happy to win this game... @UNI is not an easy place to go hunting for wins. Just hope King Frazier and Wimbush are OK.

There was a thousand reasons given yet we won without our starting RB in the second half. Easton is struggling right now but he's still 15-1 as a starter. A lot of drive stopping penalties today. We do have to fix that.

Two really good defenses making offenses look inconsistent to outright bad. UNI had its chances. Thought Dunne was down by his receivers, though he definitely made mistakes.

Hats off to NDSU, they owned first down on offense, which I think was the difference.

This team has warts... plenty of them. But so did every title team the Bison have fielded over the previous 5 years (outside of 2013). This team reminds me a lot of the 2012 team right now... a lot of close ugly wins during the season with shaky QB play but they make the game winning plays when it counts. My concern is that year they had a much better defense although I think this year they've got a better offense than they did in 2012 despite its obvious shortcomings.
