Georgetown University football freshman defensive lineman Marquis Parris was selected as the Corvias Patriot League Rookie of the Week and junior defensive back Jelani Williamson was named honorable mention when the league announced its weekly awards on Monday. The honors recognize Parris’ and Williamson’s efforts in GU’s 31-17 setback at then-No. 19/25 Harvard University on Friday night.
