I know it's still very early but...
I think this game could be huge. Chattanooga is undoubtably the class of the SoCon right now...the Mocs are clearly the team to beat. But my Terriers have an excellent defense. The team allowed less than 100 yards of total offense to ETSU and has only allowed 7 points thus far in two games against FCS competition. I know we haven't exactly been playing heavyweights but we still look very tough on D. I think Samford is a very big game for us. If we can beat a very good Samford team on the road I think we're probably a solid playoff contender. I think this game next week might end up determining second place in the SoCon and a playoff berth, though The Citadel will certainly have something to say about that too. I look forward to what should be a good one next weekend...I definitely think it is the SoCon game of the week for 10/1.
