Most Significant Win NDSU

Most Significant Loss Richmond

I can't imagine how any wins/losses top those two...

NDSU beats a top-15 (for now) ranked FBS school

Richmond not only loses to an underdog, but gets blown out

Yeah I will have to rank SBU this week, but Richmond is going to take quite the blow.

I thought the most significant loss was the B1G in general

To know that they dont play FCS games anymore and to have that blemish that will be there until they open them back up.

As if ranking teams each week wasn't difficult enough, games like this happen!

Makes UND loss not look so bad. If EWU handles UNI in the wind and rain their stock goes way up, and they become the tops in BSC.

UND USD is a big game for the BSC as well

Great weekend of football, and congratulations to the Bison.

Right now, I am split between NDSU and Stony Brook for "biggest"....Stony Brook's was a conf. game...

In what world is EWU not the top BSC before this game is even played?

I agree, a lot of the BSC followers don't.

So even if they lose they'll still be the top team?

Of course, they beat a FBS team, have to be the best!

Wrong line of thought. He's a bison fan, and EWU took them into OT. Obviously no matter what happens they are the best in the Big Sky ;)

Yeah I guess im kind of scratching my head too. The two wins aren't even in the same zip code. Congrats to SBU, though! I totally wasn't expectings that kind of a thrashing. Very impressed! But most SIGNIFICANT?.....NO

Haha, I know, but even if they don't win another game, doesn't an FBS win mean they are top 25? xthumbsupx

Actually, it's most significant win, not biggest upset or most national attention. I agree that the NDSU win is most likely the most significant, but you could make an argument that as far as the polls are concerned that SBU winning is much more significant because of how much it will likely pull them up the polls. On the other hand NDSU isn't going to move because of their win, so as far as the polls are concerned it's just going to make them unanimously number one instead of just number one. So you could argue the significance is less.

If its not SBU or NDSU for most significant win, I would require some kind of explanation.

Even if Ewu beats UNI (they wont) they are not a top 10 team. Neither is Montana

Where the hell did you read that? As of the end of week 2 EWU was the top BSC team. Taking #1 to OT and beating Washington State is a great resume. If UNI skull****s them they will probably drop.

There you go Panthers....that's what you gotta do. I'd love to see Farley in the pregame pep talk telling his players to go out and skull**** EWU.

The other guy was talking about where they would stand after week 3.

Right, but the way it is written out suggests they are not already.

If NDSU beats Iowa they will become the number 1 team in the FCS. See how that suggests they are not already #1? My entire post is predicated on the fact that if what he is saying would happen, then they would remain tops in the bsc, because they already have the best resume to date.

That should always be the goal ;)
