Take DSU plus the points! I expect the Hornets to lose, but by fewer than 26 points.

Unless they REALLY suck this year.

This can't be considered a rivalry until:

1) Delaware State wins a game
2) Delaware State hosts a game

Maybe one day.

2. Rivalry? Maybe not

In talking to players and coaches leading up to this game, one hardly gets the sense there is considerable passion stirred up between the state’s only two Division I FCS programs. Many simply welcomed the beginning of the season and looked at this as the first step building toward what matters most – the conference seasons, Delaware’s CAA and Delaware State’s MEAC. Certainly, it may mean a bit more to the in-state players sprinkled through each team’s lineup, many of whom know each other as rivals and/or teammates. Delaware has dominated Delaware State – winning all six games by double digits – and the Hornets will have to make it more competitive. Carter believes they’re capable, but until they do, he said, it isn’t much of a rivalry, especially with every game being in Newark.

Yeah can it really be a rivalry when they have only played 6 times and the first time was in 2007?

You can thank ESPN for the "rivalry" hype.
